Door2Door

Door2Door

Contemporary travelers demand something beyond sun and sand, hence the popular rise of Extreme Tourism and Eco-Tourism. Believers in Christ have an exciting opportunity to participate in the ultimate travel experience with “Evango-Tourism”!  Promising more than merely an experience, it offers the rewarding privilege to combine travel and ministry.

The Idea

The idea behind Door 2 Door is invite visitors to go back to the roots of Thai culture, to make friends with villagers, join with them in their daily work and lives, learn from them, and explore new, appropriate ways to share the love of God with them. Door 2 Door combines travel and adventure with the chance to share about Jesus in places where He has never been heard of nor followed.

Christian mission activity is often limited to urban areas.  Experiencing a part of the country and culture most visitors only read about, Lighthouse is your local connection, placing you in a local village, living with local people.  You will work alongside the people in the rice paddies and other settings.  As you learn about their life, they will learn about yours.  As you prayerfully share your lives with one another, sharing Christ becomes natural!  At the end, there is opportunity for the team to present their testimony clearly, for Christ.
